ANGELA BRANCATO (nee RIZZO) Peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2001, Angela Brancato passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. She was born on January 2, 1956 in Qude Bois, Belgium. Angela was predeceased by her sister-in-law Paola Costanzo and brother-in-law Bill Sokolewsky. Angela will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband Carmelo (Carmie) Brancato; and also her parents, Giuseppe and Nicoletta Rizzo; her brother Carmelo; sisters, Nikki, Julia (Ricardo) and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, her in-laws, many friends, and her great-niece Rebecca Isabell. Angela came to Winnipeg in July 1957 along with her parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 1 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave., with Rev. Fr. Michael RajSavarimuthu Presiding at the Eucharist. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley St. Pallbearers will be, Gino, Mario, Rick, Devon, Rodney, Sal, Robert and Eddie. The family wished to Extend a special thank you to the staff at Seven Oaks, Womens Pavilion and the Health Sciences Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angelas memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermont Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E OV9, or to the Canadian Diabetes association, 1002-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C OS6. There you lie, A beautiful angel, waiting in the sky. Grieving is hard now, But as sure as the sun will set, We know this will too. Up comes the beautiful gleaming sun, Over the horizon of darkness, Bringing a new day, For us. You wont be forgotten. Leave all but your soul, And follow the footsteps of God, Into the kingdom of heaven. We know You loved us As we loved you. We will always love and miss you!
