CHRISTOPHER BRANDY October 19, 1952 - November 22, 2001 Suddenly and peacefully at his residence Chris went home to be with the Lord. Left to mourn is his beloved April, mother Mrs. Brandy; sisters, Vivian (Jon) and Lee; brothers, Steven and Doug (Lindy) nephew Kevin, mother-in-law Irene; sister-in-law Brittney. Predeceased by his father. Memorial service will take place December 1 at St. Lukes Anglican Church, Nassau and Stradbrook, at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Robert L. Brownlie presiding. Chris was respected by all, known for his friendliness, sense of humour, generosity and kindness. His walk with Christ has grown strong within the last few years and was reflected in his daily life. God saw him getting tired And a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around him And whispered "Come to me". With tearful eyes we watched him suffer And saw his strong attempts to live. Although we loved him dearly, We could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, A heart filled with love and kindness. Although our hearts be broken, Chris is now in heaven. God is truly merciful. My dearest Chris, you will always be loved and remembered.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Chris and I grew up in Fort Churchill and Winnipeg, MB. We were both born in 1952 and went to school together in Fort Churchill and hung around together there and in Winnipeg, even though we went to different schools there, St. John Ravenscourt a Protestant school for him and St. Paul’s High School, a Catholic school for me. Both schools with very similar Christian philosophical teaching and beliefs in God. I’ve outlived Chris for a few years and even though I’m currently a cancer patient and I don’t know how much longer, I hope I’ll get to see Chris when my passing happens and pray that we’ll be in God’s care and blessed with eternal peace and usefulness in God’s projects forever. - Posted by: Brian Richards (Good sincere friend in Fort Churchill and Winnipeg, Manitoba.) on: Dec 28, 2017
