RYAN KENNETH BOITSON It is with great sadness we announce the tragic passing of our son, brother, nephew, and friend, Ryan Kenneth Boitson on Wednesday, January 9, 2002 at the young age of 15. Ryan was born June 23, 1986. He will be sadly missed, but forever lovingly remembered by parents, Ken and Donna; brothers, Landon and Jason; grandparents, Margaret (Baba) Boitson, Phillip (Gido) and Ann (Baba) Kwiatkowski; uncles and aunts, Garry and Bobbie, Robert and Nancy, Richard and Svitlana; and cousin Matthew; best friend Jared Lace; many relatives and friends. Ryan attended River East High School. He was very creative and was always building and inventing, especially rebuilding old electronics. Ryan enjoyed computers, and was quite the entrepreneur, including helping Gido Kwiatkowski with his lawn mowing business. Ryans two passions were skateboarding and snowboarding. The front yard was characterized by his annual snow hill. He enjoyed camping and time away with Gido (Taras) Boitson, with whom he is now in heaven. Pallbearers will be his friends, Jared Lace, Jared Gushuliak, Nick Heiland, Brent Steinhilber, Todd Grywinski, and Steven Kiss. Prayers will be said by Fr. Terance McGrath at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 250 Burrin Ave., on Sunday, January 13 at 2:00 p.m. The funeral mass will also be held in the parish on Monday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ryan to the Childrens Wish Foundation at 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, R3C 3J2.
