JOHN (JOERG) BRANDT It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John (JB) Brandt on Saturday, March 23, 2002. He was born on August 26, 1946 in Weinsberg, Germany to Carla and Gerhard Schulz. He was predeceased by his father; one sister and three brothers. Left to cherish Johns memory are his wife Evelyn; children, Kirk (Kim), Shaylene and Colby; his mother and stepfather, Carla and Ted; grandchildren, Braelyn and Morgan; their grandmother Giselle; many in-laws; nieces; nephews and friends. John loved to ski, go boating, play baseball and hunt and fish, but his greatest joy was making every day special for his wife and children and creating special memories. John was a devoted son and enjoyed time with his parents. At the time of his death he was employed by Herzing Career College and appreciated the friendships he made there. The family would like to thank the emergency staff at the Victoria Hospital and Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bethel Mennonite Church, 870 Carter Ave. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service. Interment to follow in Garry Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a trust fund for Johns children, Shay and Colby at the Royal Bank, 1300 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB, R3T 2B4. Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never ever the same. If tears could build a stairway and heartaches make a lane, we would walk the path to heaven and bring you home again. "We love you, miss you and we will never forget you."
