Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEN BORYSOWICH September 8, 1918 - May 30, 2002 Peacefully, with his family at his side, Ben Borysowich passed away at Fred Douglas Lodge. Ben will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Jean; three children, Gloria (Robert) Budakowski, Ron (Karen) and Brian (Angela) five grandchildren, Daryl (fiance Tara), Wesley, Amelia, Dennis and Daniel; one sister Kay Rogers; four brothers, Joe (Pat), William (Olga), John (Ann) and Emil (May) and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ben was in the army during the Second World War and married Jean on November 13, 1943. They settled in Winnipeg, where they raised their family. Ben worked as a Shipper and Receiver at Grannys poultry until his retirement at age 65. He was an avid fisherman. His family and friends will always treasure his woodworking and crafts that he lovingly made. Ben was very hard working and instilled a very strong work ethic in his children. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. The family would like to thank the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge for all their care and compassion. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, June 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daryl and Wesley Budakowski, Amelia and Dennis Borysowich, Leonard Pleskacz and Clarence Frilick. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Bens memory to Fred Douglas Lodge, 1275 Burrows Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2X 0B8. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
