ALMER (DARKY) FULFORD BOYCE With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Almer Fulford Boyce at the age of 81 years at the Betel Home in Selkirk, MB. Almer will be lovingly remembered by his wife Dorothy of 58 years and his children, Evelyn (Alex), Margaret (Clarence), Almer (Marilyn), Tom (Lenore), Edie (Dave), Terry (Debbie), Jim (Maureen), Marilyn (Jim), Allan (Zelly) and Heather (Robert) 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister Gladys (Gestur) brothers, Jackie (Janice) and Tom (Pauline) nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Edith Anne Boyce; sister Dorothy; and brothers, John, Harry, Jim, Kenny and twin brother Eldon. Almer was born on November 5, 1920 in Libau, MB. He served in the Second World War overseas. He was a lifetime member with the Selkirk Legion Branch No. 42. After retiring from the Manitoba Rolling Mill he enjoyed both working in his garage and travelling with mom. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with Rev. Rainie McKinnon officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service time. Interment to follow in the St. Clements Cemetery. The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Demsas and the staff at Betel Home, Selkirk. Flowers are gratefully declined.
