Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL BACHINSKI It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved father and grandfather Michael on Sunday, July 21, 2002 at the age of 80 years. Mike will be sadly missed by his sons, Richard and Charlie (Van) daughter-in-law Shirley; his grandchildren, Robin (Donald), Charles (Debbie), Clifford (Marion), Nicholai, Jackie (Trent), Jason, Jamie, Matthew and Lauren and his 15 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister Anne and sister-in-law Rose. Mike was predeceased by his wife Mary, son Kenneth and siblings. Michael was born May 17, 1922 in Woodmore, MB. He left home to join the army and after several years met his future wife Mary Perchuk. Mike and Mary were married for 56 years. They lived and raised their family in East Kildonan and East St. Paul. Mike was employed with the City of Winnipeg. After retirement Mike enjoyed spending time at their summer spot in Gimli where he enjoyed eating out and daily excursions exploring the countryside. A special thanks to the ICU nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Jackie Knight, Trent Knight, Jason Bachinski, Jamie Bachinski, Matthew Bachinski, Lauren Bachinski and Anna Winlarska. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 25, at 10:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. with viewing prior to the service. Donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., R3B 2H8. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
