Nee le 8 decembre 1911 au Pas-de-Calais en France, elle est venue au Canada en 1954 avec son epoux Salvatore Bonomo (d. 1998), sa fille Monique (McGillivray) (d. 1988), et son fils Alberto Bonomo. La defunte laisse dans le deuil son gendre Howard McGillivray et sa famille, Olga Lavergne (Pierre: Joelle), Brigitte Bollenbach (John: Cody, Jayson), Otto McGillivray (Lynne: Leo, James), Pietro McGillivray (Michelle: Justin), Sandra Bayer (Marvin: Loressa, Miah, Tristan, Kelby, Brandon), ainsi que son fils et sa bru Alberto et Annette Bonomo et leur famille: Antonio (Samara: Brandyn) et Philippe (Louise: Alexei, Patrick et Natasha). Nous nous souviendrons toujours avec amour de notre Maman/Memere, de sa vivacite, de sa joie de vivre et de son enthousiasme. Elle a toujours travaille dur et tous ceux qui lont connue la respectaient. Son talent pour cuisiner merite detre souligne. Nombreux sont ceux qui ont beneficie de sa generosite et de son don de soi au fil des ans. Elle nous manquera terriblement. La famille souhaite remercier le personnel du Centre Tache, ou elle a habite pendant plus de 10 ans, pour leurs soins competents et attentifs a son egard, ainsi que pour leur gentillesse envers elle. Nous tenons a remercier les medecins qui lont soignee au cours de sa vie, en particulier Messieurs Clement Lavoie, Philippe Erhard et Sheldon Permack. Merci aussi a tous ceux et celles qui nous ont exprime, dune facon ou dune autre, leurs condoleances. Le prieres auront lieu le mardi 26 novembre a 19h au Salon mortuaire Desjardins, 357 rue Des Meurons. La messe des funerailles est prevue pour 10h30 le mercredi 27 novembre a la Cathedrale de Saint-Boniface avec visionnement de 10h jusquau temps de la messe. Pour ceux qui le desirent, un don a la Societe Alzheimer du Manitoba, 120, rue Donald, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2, ou a loeuvre de charite de leur choix, en temoignage a Anna Bonomo, serait preferable aux fleurs. ANNA ADELE BONOMO (nee LERAT) On Saturday, November 23, 2002, at the Tache Nursing Centre, Anna Adele Bonomo (nee Lerat) passed on into the arms of the Lord. Born December 8, 1911 in Pas-de-Calais, France, she came to Canada in 1954 with her husband Salvatore Bonomo (d. 1998), her daughter Monique (McGillivray) (d. 1988), and her son Alberto Bonomo. Family members left to mourn her loss include her son-in-law Howard McGillivray and his family: Olga Lavergne (Pierre: Joelle), Brigitte Bollenbach (John: Cody, Jayson), Otto McGillivray (Lynne: Leo, James), Pietro McGillivray (Michelle: Justin), Sandra Bayer (Marvin: Loressa, Miah, Tristan, Kelby, Brandon), as well as her son and daughter-in-law Alberto and Annette Bonomo and their families: Antonio (Samara: Brandyn), Philippe (Louise: Alexei, Patrick, Natasha). Maman/Memere will be remembered as a joyful, loving, outgoing exuberant and gregarious individual. She was hard working and well respected by everyone who knew her. Her cooking skills, in particular, deserve to be highlighted. Many can attest to her generosity and unselfishness over the years. We will miss her tremendously. The family wishes to thank the attentive, caring and competent staff at the Tache Nursing Centre, where she resided over 10 years. Thanks also to the doctors who attended to her needs over the years, in particular Dr. Clement Lavoie, Dr. Philippe Erhard and Dr. Sheldon Permack. Thank you to everyone who, in one way or another, has expressed to us their sympathy in our loss. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27 in the St. Boniface Cathedral with viewing from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu, donations in memory of Anna Bonomo may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2, or to the charity of ones choice.
