DANUTE DOMICELE BOYKO (JANKAUSKAS) Peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at St. Boniface Hospital, Danute Boyko aged 92 years. Danute was born on January 26, 1910 in Lithuania. She arrived in Winnipeg in 1952 and resided here until her demise. She was a strong supporter and pioneer member of St. Casimir Lithuanian Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, son Chester Jankauskas and daughter-in-law Donata; niece Loreta; and numerous friends. She was predeceased by her husband Theodore, son Ksaveras Jankauskas. Prayers will be said 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 29 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 30 at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., with Rev. Antoni Degutis officiating. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Messrs: Vic Lion, Nestor Kozak, Todd Witzleben, Clarence Takeuchi, John Bartnik, Harold Nelles. The family extends their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Palliative Care Unit, St. Boniface Hospital. Special thanks also to Dr. M. Rafiq and Dr. M. A. Pirzada.
