Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryURSULA EMMA BOW Peacefully on February 9, 2003 at the Betel Home in Selkirk, Ursula Bow, aged 90 years, of Selkirk, beloved wife of the late Kaare Bow. Ursula was born in Harte, MB on July 27, 1912, daughter of the late James and Emma Boles. She married Kaare on February 23, 1939 on the family farm and they resided in Neepawa until moving to Selkirk in 1958. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, playing games and cards with family and friends, and camping at White Lake in the Whiteshell. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge No. 67 and of the Selkirk Evangelical Lutheran Church. Ursula was predeceased by her husband Kaare in 1997; a son Alvin in 2002; sisters, Charlotte, Florence, Emma and Edith; and a brother Jim. She leaves surviving two sons, Harvey (Judy) and Raymond (Jean) two daughters, Alice (Glen) Pruden and Karen Bow; a daughter-in-law Dianne Bow; a sister Bessie Smart of Carberry; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 12 at 1:00 p.m. in the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Selkirk with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Viewing at the church one half hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Her grandsons will be her pallbearers. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Selkirk General Hospital and Betel Home for all their excellent care and to Pastor Richards for his devoted visits. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Betel Home in Selkirk or to the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Selkirk. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
