DAVID LORNE SAWCHUK January 28, 1955 - February 17, 2003 It is with deep sadness, after a lengthy illness, the family announces the passing of David Sawchuk, aged 48 years, on Monday, February 17, 2003. David was predeceased by his parents Emil and Helen and sister Adeline. He will be sadly missed and always remembered by his loving wife Xenia; step-children, Volodymyr and Evanka; brothers, Hilliard (Eileen), Leonard (Loretta), Wesley (Mary), and Ed (Lynne) sisters, Christina (Mel), and Rose (Ken) and many nephews, cousins and good friend Ken Schwartz. David worked for Maple Leaf Construction for many years and then trained as a Computer Technician and recently was employed for Tronica. He enjoyed camping, boating and working around the house fixing things. He was proud of his family and enjoyed his time with his pets, Jada and Buddy. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in Unit 4D and also ICU, at the Health Sciences Centre for all their care Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Fr. Ivan Mostivsky officiating. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Davids memory to charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
