MARGARET (MADGE) MARSHALL (nee Brooks) June 18, 1907 - February 18, 2003 Peacefully after a short stay at Rock Lake Personal Care Home in Pilot Mound, MB, Madge Marshall, aged 95 years, of Pilot Mound. Madge was predeceased by her husband John; a son Kenneth; her parents, William & Mary Brooks; brothers, Ronald, Jack, Alex and Kennedy (May) a sister Jean (Bill) Comish; and a nephew Ron Brooks. She is survived by a daughter Lavona; a son Barry (Nellie) a daughter-in-law Helen; a grandson Darren (Inge) a great-granddaughter Sydney; sisters-in-law Edna and June Brooks; and many nieces and nephews. John and Madge moved to Pilot Mound in 1929 after first living in Boissevain and Souris. For many years she was active in the ladies curling club, the Legion Auxillary, and the U.C.W. A memorial service will be held from Pilot Mound United Church in Pilot Mound on Saturday, February, 22 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will have taken place prior to the service in Boissevain Cemetery. Officiant: Rev. Irene Onuch. Friends if they desire, may donate in her memory to the Rock Lake Handi-Van Fund in care of Prairie View Lodge in Pilot Mound or to a charity of ones choice.
