EDMOND JOSEPH STREMBICKY May 2, 1938 - March 16, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother and uncle Edmond Strembicky, on Sunday, March 16, 2003 at the age of 64. Ed is survived by his mother Frances; three sisters, Clara, Florence (Charles), and Leona (Walter) and many nieces and nephews. Ed was predeceased by his father Joseph on June 7, 2002. Ed had several jobs since he finished school. He worked for Motor Coach Industries as a mechanic building buses; Manitoba Power as lineman building towers; Garson Esso; Carter Motors in the remanufacturing plant and he worked in the quarry as sideman and delivered mail to Highland from 1970 to 1976. In 1978, he became postmaster in Garson until his retirement in 1998, since which time he has been caring for his mother Frances. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E. Beausejour, MB with Rev. Msgr. Wesley Cwieka, the celebrant.
