PHILLIP MARTIN COHEN With regret, the family announces the passing of Phil Cohen, aged 64, suddenly and without suffering on April 2, 2003. Phil was born in Winnipeg on May 30, 1938, but spent many of his happiest times with family in Los Angeles. He was an integral part of W. Cohen Furs, working closely with his father. Phils colourful past allowed him to relate to many people and form great friendships. As well, he was a generous contributor to CancerCare Manitoba, The Variety Club, The Childrens Hospital Foundation, and The Muscular Dystrophy Association. Phil was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Gwen Cohen. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Lori (Bryon) and Lesley, his sister, Pat (Hy), and by cousins, Gwen and Coleman Lander, and Rhonda and Bob Gaylor, as well as by his many friends. If friends so desire, donations in Phils memory may be made to the above charities. Dad, the last of the solid guys!
