Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUGUSTA BOUCHARD (nee CRESPEIGNE) Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Augusta Bouchard, 96 years of age, passed away at Rainycrest Home on Monday, May 26, 2003. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Louis Bouchard (Darlene), Jeanne Desaulniers (Aime), Donald Bouchard (Joanna), Florence Gagnon (Marcel Danis), and Mary Girardin (Gerry) her sister, Bertha; 17 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph; one brother George; and two sisters, Louise and Jeanne. Mother was born in Belgium on April 11, 1907, and came to Canada at a young age. Mom and Dad moved to Rainy River district in Ontario in 1943 where they farmed for a number of years. They then owned and operated a local grocery store. In 1973, they moved to Winnipeg. In 2001, Mom moved back to the Rainy River district where she spent her remaining years. Moms whole life was spent caring and worrying about her children. Prayers will be held Thursday, May 29 at 7:00 p.m., in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 30 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Ave. Presiding at the Prayers and Funeral will be Rev. Fr. Terry McGrath and Rev. Fr. James W. Gray. Service will terminate at the church with cremation and interment to follow at a later date. Pallbearers are Greg, Shane and Donovan Girardin, Orian Gagnon, John Desaulniers, John, Joey and Donnie Bouchard. Honorary Pallbearers are Todd and Danielle Desaulniers, Amanda Danis, Daniel Girardin, Andy, Cameron and Patty Bouchard, Laurie Stewart, and Verna Lytal. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Moms memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes or a charity of choice. Special thanks to the nurses at Rainycrest for their compassion and quality care. P.
