EILEEN JOAN BRASS Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends, Eileen Joan Brass passed away to be with the Lord, in the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg on Friday, June 6, 2003. She was 40 years, five months and six days of age. Eileen lived most of her years in Winnipeg, where she wanted to be close to her children. She enjoyed spending time with her children and loved them very much. Eileen was a caring, loving person who enjoyed life and lived to the fullest. She enjoyed having company, whoever came to see her until she passed on to be with the Lord, where she will no longer suffer pain. She is survived by her children, Conrad (Johnson) Brass, Gilbert Brass, Richard Brass, Kayla (Brass) Papetti, Gabriel Papetti, Julia Papetti, Erica Brass and by one grandchild Gabriel Sinclair. She is also survived by her mother Maryjane Cook, father Kenneth Brass, sisters, Darlene Guiboche, Mavis Brass and Sabrina Brass, step sisters, Judy Shingoose, Caroline (Flett) Kematch and Elizabeth Brass, also numerous uncles, aunties and cousins. Predeceased by her grandparents, Julia and Albert Cook, brothers, Ricky Brass and Johnny Brass. No more pain No more darkness Just light and the Lord Remembering the times all the memories and years we look back and smile thinking of her funny ways She is devoted and strong caring and kind so we will always remember our mother, daughter, sister and friend In loving memory of Eileen Brass - Kayla Papetti Prayers and wake service will be held on Monday, June 9 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr Street. A funeral service will follow in the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, June 10 at 1:00 p.m. Fr. Dominique officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers are all of Eileens immediate family.
