PHILOMENE BOULET (nee BOULET) Peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, Marie Alphonsine Philomene Boulet, beloved wife of the late Noel Boulet, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Friday, June 20, 2003 at the age of 86 years. Philomene leaves to mourn two sisters, Therese Buisson and Marguerite Cote; three brothers, Alexandre (Jeanette), Leon and Robert (Elvine) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband in 1994, her parents, Joseph and Emma Boulet; three brothers, Elzear, Michel and Louis; two sisters-in-law, Elise Boulet and Alice Boulet; and two brothers-in-law, Joseph Buisson and Wilfred Cote. Philomene was born on October 24, 1916 in Dunrea, MB at the home of her paternal grandparents. Her favourite pastime was knitting baby clothes which she gladly gave away. Her smile, laughter, quick sense of humour and love toward others will keep her memory special in the many lives she touched throughout her life. A special thanks to the staff of 7A South at the St. Boniface Hospital for their kindness and excellent care given during her last month. Prayers will be held on Monday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24 at 1:00 p.m. also in Green Acres Funeral Chapel with P. Isaie Blanchette, O.M.I. presiding. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
