Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILE R. MONDOR Born April 1, 1925 in Lorette, MB, he passed away, peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Health Sciences Centre on July 13, 2003. Emile is survived by Yvonne, his devoted wife of 56 years. He leaves behind his remaining siblings, Leo, Agathe and Theresa; and special friend Delores. His memory will live on through his two daughters, Claudette and Jacqueline. His spirit will be cherished by his two sons (in-law), Derek Anderson and Joseph Baetsen. His legacy will prevail through his grandchildren, Nicole, Mathew (Anderson), Claudine, Joel and Elise (Baetsen). Emile (Pepere/Pep) had unsurpassed faith. It was this faith that allowed him to be thankful, humble and pious. Every morning he offered his day to God, knowing he would be received with open arms. After dedicating 43 years to the CN Hotel Fort Garry, Pepere gave his time freely as a pastoral care worker and by serving mass at the St. Boniface Cathedral and at la Maison provinciale des Soeurs Grises. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and a proud Veteran. Pep was tireless in his giving. A selfless, kind man, who worked exceptionally hard to provide for his family. His family was the meaning of life and this truth is obvious everyday. Not a moment goes by without knowing we were loved. He will be profoundly missed by family and friends. He was an incredible man with incredible spirit. To know him was to love him. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 17 at 10:30 a.m. at the Basilique-Cathedrale St. Boniface, 190 avenue de la Cathedrale (viewing at 10:00 a.m.) officiated by Fr. Paul Campeau. Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the compassionate staff at the Health Sciences Centre, Rehab and I.C.U. team who made his journey from this earth comfortable and peaceful. Also, a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Chernicki, Janice, Dr. Mayba and Dr. Fong for ensuring the best of care for Emile. At the request of the family, no flowers please. Donations may be made to the St. Boniface Cathedral Renovation Fund, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
