JAMES BRADY On Saturday, August 2, 2003, at the age of 83, James Brady passed away peacefully at Grace Hospital surrounded by his wife of 60 years, Wyn; his daughter Linda, son-in-law Revelle; and friend and minister, Rev. Beth McCutcheon. He is also survived by an older daughter Judith and son Tom (Belkis) grandchildren Brian, Jennifer, Jason, Jonathan, Jaymee and Kasey; along with great grandchildren Mihala and Jacob James. Jim was born in Scotland in 1920. He served in the R.A.F. during 1939 - 1946 and was stationed in Canada during 1940 - 1943. He married Wyn in 1942 and returned to Canada in 1946 to make his life with her. Jims family remained in Scotland. His parents, Tom and Mary; brother Pat; and sister Liz predeceased him. He is survived by his Auntie May Lynn and his sister Cathy with whom he was reacquainted after many years of separation. He enjoyed their weekly chats very much. Jim worked for many years at Pritchard Engineering. He was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church where he loved to sing and share his candies with the children. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 11, at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Presbyterian Church, where the service ends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Presbyterian Church, 1476 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3G 0W3.
