KRISTOPHER RYAN BRELAND October 14, 1977 - August 17, 2003 It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our son and brother Kristopher. Kris was born in Winnipeg and grew up in North Kildonan. He attended Maple Leaf Elementary, Chief Peguis Junior High and graduated from Kildonan East Collegiate in 1997 with a carpentry certificate. He was employed by Custom Casting Ltd. where he thoroughly enjoyed his work and co-workers. Kriss infectious grin will be sadly missed by his immediate and extended family and many, many friends. He relished the time he spent with his mom, dad, brother, and close friends at his parents house, along with the fun nights out with the boys. His generous helping hand and witty sense of humour will live with us forever. Kriss best asset, a big heart, along with other organs, were donated keeping his loving and helpful spirit alive. We would like to sincerely thank all the family and friends for their love and support. We would also like to extend our warm thanks to the 7th floor Surgical Intensive Care Unit Nursing staff, doctors, and transplant coordinator at HSC for their kindness and dedication. Viewing will be held Friday, August 22 between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Join us in the celebration of Kriss life Saturday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. also at the chapel, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kriss memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Wpg. R2L 1X3. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thank you Kris for all the love and laughter you have shared with us through the years. Well miss you always. Love forever, Mom, Dad, and Lonnie.
