Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryASTRID SORENSEN Born December 18, 1912 at Shellend Island, Jutrand Peninsula, Denmark. Died September 28, 2003 at her home in Victoria, BC. Astrid never married and left no children. Her career was in Food Services with Hudsons Bay Company in Winnipeg. Her interests included walking, nature, music, baseball and her friends. She passed away peacefully after attending a performance of the Victoria Symphony. She will be missed by her friends and her remaining family. Private cremation, no service, arrangements by McCall Bros. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Victoria Foundation, 418 - 645 Fort St., Victoria, BC as an addition to Astrids bequest, which will be treated as a perpetual endowment devoted to healthcare as a field of interest.
