THEODORE BOSCH It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Theodore Bosch, on Friday, October 31, 2003 at the age of 98 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen; his brothers, Piet and Henk; and his sisters, Johanna and Miet. Theo is survived by his daughter, Julie (Daniel) Gyselinck; his grandchildren, Patricia (Jerry), Richard (Karen), Diane (Ward) and his great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Terence, Taylor, Tyler, Colin and Brett, as well as numerous nephews and nieces here and in Holland. Theo was born in Holland in 1905 and immigrated to Canada in 1925. Theo met and married his beloved wife, Helen, in 1934. Together they began a Market Garden in South St. Vital in 1940. They were part of the original North End Market, growing vegetables and gladiolas. In 1951, Red Valley Greenhouses was founded by Theo, which is now in its third generation. Together, he and Helen, became the first chrysanthemum growers in Manitoba. They were proud of the quality of their mums throughout the years until their retirement in 1970. Theo enjoyed travelling back to Holland, bowling, discussing politics and weekly billiard games. During retirement, he and his wife spent many enjoyable winters in Hawaii. Theo had a confident, outgoing personality, which allowed him to have numerous friends throughout the world. In his last years, he appreciated the many friendships he made while at Meadowood Towers and especially enjoyed going out with his best friend, Ben Baars. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Meadowood Manor for their care and compassion during the past years. The family has honoured Theos request that no service be held and cremation has taken place. There are many fond and lasting memories of Theo, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. He will be missed by all. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematorium Hwy. #1 E. at Navin, 222-3241
