SANDRA MACKENZIE BOLIN Unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at Grace General Hospital at the age of 63 years, Sandra MacKenzie Bolin peacefully passed away. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her children, Jennifer, Grant (Cathie) and Christopher; our father Roy remained a special part of her life. Sandra was born on March 11, 1940 in Winnipeg, predeceased by her parents, James and Virginia MacKenzie. Her three siblings join in our loss, her two sisters, Vicky (John) Novak, Lacey (David) Sanders and younger brother Alistair, as well as many nieces and nephews and in-laws. As a child, Sandra attended both public and private school with her graduating years in the halls of Saint Marys Academy. Sandra was an active member of the Glee Club and Winnipeg Junior League, and maintained friendships with fellow classmates and colleagues. Sandra will be remembered by many, for her sense of humor and zest for life. Her daughter Jennifer, wishes to extend a special thank-you for the support that her cousin Kelly MacKenzie and Dr. Hartley provided. We wish to thank the staff of the Manitoba Home Care Program and the Grace Hospital for their thoughtful and kind care of our mother. Thank you to all who shared in Sandras life. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 22 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Brebeuf Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Place with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, Cancer Care Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society will gratefully accept donations. "If you find in your heart to care for somebody else, then, you will have truly succeeded."
