DONALD MARCEL BOONE July 2, 1953 - December 21, 2003 After a lengthy struggle with MS, Donald Marcel Boone peacefully left us to be with his Lord and Saviour on Sunday, December 21, 2003, at Riverview Health Centre. Dons life was a testimony and witness of the love and grace of God to everyone who knew him. He walked faithfully with his Lord and was an inspiration to us all. He is survived by his loving children, Jonathan Boone and Catherine Strempler (Andrew) grandson James Strempler; parents Marcel and Leona Boone; sisters, Dales Chenier (Don), Darlene Landino (Gerry), Darcy McConnell (nee Boone) brother Doug Boone; nieces; and grandmother Adriene Davis. Don had a passion for dogs, horses and birds. His hobbies included bird watching and building birdhouses. Prior to his illness Don worked at East West Packers, Port Alberni in the forestry industry and as a trail guide at Falcon Beach Riding Stables. The family would like to thank Dons nurses and attendants at Tache Centre and Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Green Acres Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
