MARGARET EYRES Margaret Eyres passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2003. She is survived by two brothers Christopher Eyres and Bill Eyres and one sister, Ruth Pedruchney. Margaret spent many very happy years employed at Hardy Buchanan Grocery Store on Stafford. During these years Margaret made lasting relationships with the staff and customers, many of whom continued to keep in touch with Margaret over the years. We are grateful for your kindness to her. After Margaret retired from Hardy Buchanan, the family home was sold and Margaret moved to Boulton Bay. Once again new friends were made. Margaret enjoyed this time with her sister Annie - card games and tea. In 2002, Margaret moved to Golden Door Geriatric Centre. The care, compassion and kindness shown to Margaret at Golden Door was spectacular. Margaret had a sly sense of humour that was not always noticed. She loved a joke, a trick, and a good laugh. She loved a cup of hot tea in good china, a full cup please with cookies. We are thankful for the kindness shown to Margaret over the years by her many friends and acquaintances. We are eternally thankful for Margaret. Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 22 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Committal Brookside Cemetery.
