KIMBERLY JANE NACCI (nee SCHAFFER) September 17, 1960 - January 9, 2004 It is with great sadness that the family of Kim Nacci announces her passing on January 9, 2004. After a lengthy fight and courageous battle with cancer, Kim died peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the Victoria Hospital. Kim is survived by her beautiful children, Jeni and Amie, her mother Bernice Schaffer, sister Linda Macdonald, her husband Barry Nacci and her puppy Candy. Kim was predeceased by her father Alex Schaffer. Kim was born and raised in Winnipeg, where she spent her entire life. She graduated from Vincent Massey Collegiate. Kims biggest pride and joy was watching her daughters grow up and play sports. Kim avidly gave of herself as a volunteer at Dakota C.C. in Bingo, Softball, Ringette and many other club activities. Kim worked for many years for the Royal Bank, where she made many wonderful friends; friends who were there for her throughout her illness. Kims many clients were blessed by her presences, she will be missed, and they will miss seeing her helpful smiling face. Mom (Kim) loved life and will be remembered for her sense of humour, her wonderful smile and willingness to assist anyone who was in need. Over the years she made many friends, everyone who knew Mom or met her, admired her courageous strength and felt blessed by her presences. Moms strength and belief in life was very strong and admirable. Her presence was inspiring owing to her kindness and thoughtfulness towards everyone around her. Our precious mother, Kim will never be forgotten. Mom will always be with us throughout our lives, guide and watch over us, like she always did. The memories of all the people she touched will be with us forever. As we say good bye for now, we thank you Mom, for showing us how to live life to the fullest and enjoy each day as it is a blessing. We will miss you greatly; until we meet again Mom, we love you forever. Honorary Pallbearers Tracy Gobin, Alan Nacci, Michelle Gordon, Peggy Ward, Patti Engel and Vicky Szeredi will carry the torch of Kims spirit, cherishing many fond memories shes provided, which we will hold close to our hearts for years to come.
