Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMANMOHAN SINGH KENT It is with deepest sorrow that our family announces the sudden passing of our son, husband, father, brother and uncle, Mr. Manmohan Singh Kent on January 17, 2004. Sunny was the eldest son of six children. He was born in Ludhiana, India to the late Gurbachan Singh Kent and Shakuntala Kent. Predeceased by his father and mother-in-law the late Gian Singh and Phool Kaur Ahluwhalia. He did most of schooling in Kenya graduating with honours as a Biochemist from the University of Nairobi. He spent most of his fond and memorable years in Zambia, Africa. In 1982 he immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada with his family. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his best friend and wife, Manjeet, and his children, Ashpal and fiancee Amrita, Ardeep, and Arlene. He also leaves to mourn his beloved mother Shakuntala; younger brother Sukhy (Susan) and sisters, Bohupinder (Jagpal), Bali (Kartar), Neena (Amarjit) and Harveen (Rajpal) brothers-in-law, Inderpal (Bala) late brother-in-law Iqubal (Asha) sisters-in-law, Swaran (Kwalnin) and Satnam (Kimi and Sonu) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Sunny was a hard working, wonderful, caring, generous, and compassionate man who dedicated himself to ensure only the best for his family. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity, in which he blessed all his family and friends with. He has touched the very depth of our souls, and he will continue to live everyday through the eyes and hearts of his children. He was the best son, husband, father, brother and uncle in the world. He received and will continue to receive the utmost respect and admiration from the community that accepted and adored him. No one shall ever take his place, his legacy and will, shall live in all of us forever. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 21 at 1:00 p.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Prayer service will commence on Wednesday January 21 at 78 Brigantine Bay starting at 4:30 p.m.. Kirtan will be held on Friday, January 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Singh Sabah Gurdwara, 4000 Sturgeon Rd, Winnipeg, MB.
