Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN S. MINER April 25, 1933 - February 11, 2004 Norman went for a walk last Tuesday night. While he was out, the Creator saw him out in the cold and asked "Norm, I need some help. Would you come with me?" With saying that, he cradled Norm in the palm of his hand and took him home. After retiring in 1995 Norms hobbies included woodworking, volunteering in the Ste. Anne Legion and the St. Vital Historical Society, and bonding with his grandson at "Timmys". Norm is survived by his wife Lorna (nee Livingston) and two sons: Christopher, daughter-in-law Diane, grandson Glenn and Ken, daughter-in-law Eleanor. In accordance with Norms wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel with a gathering to follow. Special thanks to Dr. Griffin, Cardiologist and Dr. Lemoine (Ste. Anne, MB) and the Fire/Paramedics/Police and Medical Examiners office for their compassionate treatment of Lorna and her family at this very trying time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norms memory may be made to St. Vital Historical Society Inc., Room 17-900 St. Marys Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 3R3.
