Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTON (TONY) BOTT 1921 - 2004 On the morning of Saturday, February 28, 2004, Tony passed away peacefully at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg. Born in Nuremberg, Germany in 1921, the son of Bernhard and Anna Bott, he is survived by his brother Frank and nephew Frank Bott and family (of Toronto). Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Thursday, March 4 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to support a charity of their choice. Tony was an ardent booster of Western Canada, as expressed in a manuscript he wrote entitled "West Best Love It Or Leave It". Although he spent most of his life in Winnipeg, he also lived and travelled, at every opportunity, throughout our beautiful country west of Thunder Bay and up into the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
