RAYMOND JOSEPH McGILL Raymond Joseph McGill, age 88 years, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2004 at Riverview Health Centre. Raymond was predeceased by his wife Ingeborg McGill (June 2003) his father and mother, Warren and Ada McGill, and sister Vi Groves. Dear father of Russel (Judi) grandfather of Kim (Ron), Kris, Kyle and great-grandchildren, Devon, Mishayla and Alec; dear brother of Stanley McGill (Vera) of Ponoka, AB. Raymond was born February 11, 1916 in Weyburn (Axford) SK. He chose the profession of stationary heating engineer. He worked at Gypsum Lime & Alabistine, University of Manitoba, Teachers College and ending his career as first class Chief Engineer in charge of all Department of National Defence heating plants in Winnipeg. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Riverview Health Centre, One Morley Ave., Winnipeg. In memory of Ray, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or CancerCare Manitoba.
