Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERARD LOUIS BOULET December 23, 1916 - April 18, 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Dad, Gerard Boulet of Dunrea, MB. Gerard was predeceased by his wife of 31 years, Marguerite in 1976. He leaves to mourn his seven children and nine grandchildren, Dorothy (Jim Jankiewicz and their children, Jacqueline and Justin), William, Veronique (Brian Vercaigne and their children, Monique, Rhett, Tara), Maureen (and her children, Mitchell and Dannielle Caruk), Janine (Bernard Goebel), Jacques (and his children, Juhelle and Dominique) and Miguel; as well as his last surviving sibling Gertrude Hyrich and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dad was a true outdoorsman, trapping and hunting from the time he was 12 years old. He was a lifetime member of the Tiger Hills Wildlife Association, received a 25-year certificate for his service with the Manitoba Hunter Safety Association, was awarded for his efforts with the Habitat Conservation Program, and also a member of the Brandon Gun Club, winning numerous trophies for his marksmanship. Dad loved his land and knew every square inch of the valley. He felt he was in "Gods Country" and was completely content with his surroundings. May he now "Rest in Peace in Gods Country." Special thanks to the staff of Evergreen Place in Boissevain for the great care they provided. Prayers will be at the St. Felix de Valois Church in Dunrea on Friday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. and the funeral, also in Dunrea, will take place on Saturday, April 24 at 12:00 Noon. Should anyone so desire, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba. Arrangements in care of the Killarney Funeral Home, Killarney, MB.
