VERA BLOOMER The family wishes to announce the passing of Vera Bloomer, widow of Edward Bloomer, at the age of 93 years. Vera is survived by her daughter Nancy (Peter) Unwin and grandson John; brothers, Herbert and Frank Britton. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Bloomer; brothers, John and Spencer; and her sisters, Alice and Marguerite. Vera was born in Headingley in 1910 and graduated as an R.N. at the Victoria General Hospital. She taught Sunday School, 4H, Girl Guides, and was a member of the Womens Auxiliary.
