HUGUES (ROBERT) CHANGTIRSING With great sadness we announce the passing of Hugues (Robert) Changtirsing. Robert peacefully passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer on Friday June 4, 2004 at the Victoria General Hospital. Robert will be sadly missed by his wife Rita of 32 years; his children, Syldova (Ben), Terry, Lyndy and Audrey; and his grandchildren, Jaydon and Elisa. Robert was a loving husband and devoted father. He would do anything for his family even without being asked. His kind heart, generous nature and unselfishness touched the lives of so many people. Robert had a great passion for cooking, gardening, and walking. His sweets and tenderness will be missed by his children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this tragic time. Thank you to all the doctors and staff at the Victoria General Hospital for their kindness and understanding, in particular Dr. Tomy, Dr. Jeyakumar, Dr. Hildahl and Dr. Maxwell. Service will be held on Tuesday, June 8 at St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Victoria General Hospital.
