IVAN BOGUT 1945 - 2004 Suddenly on June 12, 2004 at his residence. Ivan was born on May 26, 1945, in a beautiful picturesque town of Slunj, D. Taboriste, Croatia. He enjoyed swimming and fishing in the Korana River. He left home at a young age to pursue a better life (after being offered a car to marry a young lady). He worked in Zagreb for a few years, then Germany, finally ending up in Winnipeg where he worked in the construction industry. He loved life, enjoyed playing Bocci ball at the Croatian picnic, where he also met his future wife, Nada. He enjoyed reading, travelling and having a great time, going to the Croatian Zabava with friends and family and dancing all night with a smile on his face. Ivan was a respectful and respected person, touching a lot of lives. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Nai Kumovi: obitbulkloadelj Magdic, obitbulkloadelj Blazevic, obitbulkloadelj Amizic, obitbulkloadelj Vuchkovic, obitbulkloadelj Jurcic and numerous family and friends throughout Canada and Croatia. PUNO HVALA. Survived by his loving wife, Nada, and his devoted nephew, Ivan, in Winnipeg. In Croatia, his brother, Vlado (Jelena) Bogut, sister, Mande (Dusan) Tezak, sister-in-law, Kate Bogut; nieces, Tonka (Ivica) Rendulic and their children, Ivana and Tony; Majda, Olga and Zdravka and their families; nephews, Marijan, Josip and Zlatko. In Canada, his sister-in-law, Vera (Michael) Moss; brother-in-law, Valentino (Bozena) and their children, Sage and Dustin; cousins, Ivan (Dusanka) Perkovic and their son, Renato. Predeceased by his parents, Josip and Jelena Bogut and brother, Rudi, in Croatia; parents-in-law, Janja and Pavel Hajdinjak. Pallbearers are: Ivan Magdic, Marko Paulic, Joso Zizic, Marko Vukovic, Renato Perkovic, Ante Jokic. Prayers will be said Wednesday, June 16, at 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 17, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Tavelich Croatian Catholic Church, 2688 Main St., with Rev.
