PRINCE It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, Edward Prince, aged 71 years, of Scanterbury, MB on June 19, 2004 at the Selkirk General Hospital. He leaves to mourn his wife Dianna Olson; three sons, Raymond, Glen and Matt; daughter Elsie; nine grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Angus; mother Elizabeth; brothers, Jack, Charlie and Ray; sister Elsie; and son-in-law Cory. Edward was born on December 15, 1932 in Peguis, MB and attended a residential school. After school he enlisted in the paratroopers P.P.C.L.I. Airborne where he served for many years. He then moved back to Scanterbury where he resided since. He was a former Chief of the Brokenhead Band. He enjoyed sports, in particular hockey, also reading and spending time with family. He was a loving father and will be missed by all who knew him. A wake will be held on Thursday, June 24 at the Scanterbury Hall starting at 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. also in the hall with interment to follow in the Scanterbury Cemetery.
