JOSEPHINE (IRENE) PRIME (nee MONKMAN) 1914 - 2004 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mom, grandma and great-grandmother on June 26, 2004 at the age of 90 years. Irene was predeceased by her first husband, Stan in 1957 and her son John in 1997. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Allan; her children, Joyce (Norm), Shirley, Bernice (Jack), Duveen (Orest), Lu (Oril), Bill (Sheila), Jim (Nancy), Bev (Mae), Linda (Neil) and Donna (Ted) 27 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Mom was a caring wife and mother who truly enjoyed her family. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 2 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli with Deacon Ray Sutton officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. In life we loved you dearly In death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one could ever fill.
