YVONNE ROMANYCHYN (ROMAN) (SOCHOR) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grammy on July 14, 2004 at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 85 years. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Gerald, (wife Rose Marie) and Harold, (wife Vera) grandchildren, Robyn (husband Mark Waddell), Jay, Jared and Matthew. Also left to remember her are brothers, Emil (Josie) and Steve and her nieces and nephews. Her beloved husband Bill, predeceased Mom in 1989. Mom and Dad were married in 1943 and together they enjoyed 46 years happy years together. They spent many weekends at their cottage at Lake Brereton, travelling to Disneyland, Hawaii, Cuba and across Canada and the United States. It was Moms fondest wish to go to Hawaii one more time. Mom worked for many years in the fur business and latterly as a secretary for the Workers Benevolent Association, retiring in 1984. While at the WBA she hosted two tours to the Ukraine. Specials thanks to the caregivers at the Maples Personal Care Home and the nurses in Unit 4 and 7 at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their kindness, care and attention. At Moms request cremation has taken place. A memorial service in her memory will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Wednesday, July 21 at 12:30 in the afternoon. Should friends so desire, donations in her memory can be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation - Heart Fund, 409 Tache St. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586 - 8044
