She spent the majority of her career in her fathers business, Wilfreds Formal Wear. She especially enjoyed taking her grandchildren to the Kids Symphony and the Manitoba Theatre for Young People. Reesa belonged to Eastern Star, Sphinx Temple No. 116 Daughters of the Nile and the Khartum Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Womens Committee of the WSO. Reesa was a warm, loving, caring person who will be deeply missed by many whose lives she touched. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am the thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush Of quiet birds in the circling flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die.
