ANN BOZOHORA (nee PANAGAPKO) After a three-month illness at Seven Oaks Hospital, we sadly announce the passing of Ann Bozohora on November 18, 2004 at the age of 87 years. Ann will be remembered lovingly by her husband Walter Buzzy; her daughter Pat Hasiuk (Ernie) her son Larry (Rita) grandchildren, Greg (Paula), Brenda (Duncan), Summer Carrie (David) and Todd; great-grandchildren, Jaime and Magnus; sister Jacine Wilkinson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Lena and Mike; brothers, Peter and Steve and cousin Ann Caplette. Ann was born on January 21, 1917 in Shand, SK and grew up on a farm in the Rorketon, MB area. As a young girl she moved to Winnipeg. She attended Norquay School where she met Walter, the love of her life for over 63 years. Before her marriage she worked as a housekeeper and often told stories of her experiences. Later as a stay at home Mom she continued to share her nurturing nature and excellent cooking skills. With Wally, she enjoyed many happy hours entertaining family, friends and neighbours in their home. Some of her favourite pastimes were playing cards and scrabble, going fishing often catching the biggest fish, and harvesting the vegetables from her garden. No one ever left her home with an empty stomach. Perogies, dill pickles and breaded pickerel were a few of her specialties. Ann and Wally also enjoyed dancing and travelling together. They visited Australia, Hong Kong, Alaska and the Caribbean. In their minivan they toured North America, wintering in Texas, where they had many friends. Mom was a devoted wife and a caring, kind-hearted Mother who loved her family dearly and was always there for us. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. The family would like to send their sincere thanks and appreciation to their supportive family and friends, Dr. Moncek and the doctors and staff of Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anns memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
