FLORENCE MAY PRINCE October 9, 1927 - November 21, 2004 After a lengthy courageous battle with cancer, peacefully on Sunday, November 21, 2004 at Riverview Health Centre, Florence Prince passed away at the age of 77. Mom was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Annabella Prince; her common-law husband of 20 years, Fred Leiss; and her son-in-law Karl Lakota. Mom is survived by her daughter Gail Lakota (Doug Bartlett) and her two sons, Fred and Mike Prince; also by five grandchildren, Tamara, Trevor, Cheyenne, Cherokee and Chenoa Prince; and her great-grandchildren, Trista, Berlin, Kiera, Samantha and Koleton Prince. Mom was a loving, caring person who will be missed by her family and her special friend Georgina Starr as well as many other friends. The family would like to thank Riverview Health Centre, Ward 3E for all their love and support they gave our mom. Mom was their special "Princess". Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, MB.
