ALISON BOOMER On November 28, 2004, Alison Boomer passed away at the age of 73 years. Mourning her loss are her husband of 53 years, Gordon and her son Ted (Lori) Boomer and grandchildren Keenan, Steele and Taite. Alison was born and educated in Winnipeg before spending many years in Edmonton. Alisons passing leaves a void in the lives of family and friends. A life long lover of animals and hockey, she loved nothing better than watching a good game or the geese at Fort Whyte. Alison was a fighter. Through her battle with cancer, she never lost her sense of humour, or her warmth and charity. Selfless to the end, she has donated her body for research. If friends so desire, please make a contribution in her name to the Manitoba CancerCare or Fort Whyte Centre. A celebration of her life will be held at a time to be announced.
