HELENA BOZEK Mom ended her struggle with ALS on December 24, 2004 at the Riverview Health Centre. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Christina; sons, Jerry and Rick (Brenda) and grandchildren, Deanne and Kelly. She is also survived by two sisters, Maria and Aniela in Poland. Mom was predeceased by her husband John in 1978 and by her loyal companion Max in June of this year. Mom was an intensely private person who's only concern was the welfare of her family. She was blessed with good health, enjoying her independence until she was stricken with this devastating disease. The family extends their appreciation to Sheri Perkin, Home Care Coordinator for her empathy and efficient services and to all the home care workers who provided care and comfort for our mother enabling her to stay at home as long as possible. The family also wishes to thank all the wonderful staff at 2 West at Riverview for their compassionate care during these past difficult months. A private family service will be held.
