MENNO FRIESEN It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Menno Friesen at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 70 years old. Menno was an owner of Unicity Taxi for many years. He was a proud member of the Odd Fellows, good Samaritans and the Army Navy Airforce Veterans in Canada. He leaves to mourn his son Brad; his mother Tina Friesen; his sister Matilda Harder; brother Alvin Friesen (Yvette); and numerous nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts. Special thanks to Eddie, Julie and all the staff and friends of the Paladin Restaurant (and Twinkles). He was predeceased by his father Cornelius Friesen; mother Sara Loeppky; and his sister Elfreda Rempel. At the request of Menno his remains will be donated to science. A memorial service will be held at Knysh Funeral Chapel at 1020 Main St. on Thursday, January 13 at 1:00 p.m. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 582-0973
