STELLA BOYCHUK (nee KEMASH) After a lengthy illness, Stella Boychuk passed away at St. Pierre Hospital on January 22, 2005 at the age of 65. Stella was born on March 23, 1939 in Dallas, MB where she grew up. She later moved to Winnipeg, met Howard Boychuk, and they began their lives together. They bought a farm together where they farmed many years with their sons. Stella also worked at Celebrations Dinner Theatre and the Dakota Hotel for many years. She enjoyed farming, gardening and shopping. Stella was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Howard Boychuk; her sister Florence; brother Peter; and her parents, the late Paul and Phyllis Kemash. Stella is survived by her sons, Arnold, Allen, and John and her grandson Ryan. She is also survived by her brothers, Lawrence and Eddy Kemash; and her sisters, Pauline Kemash and Rose Trelinski; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home and the funeral will be held Wednesday, January 26, 11:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Our family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the St. Pierre Hospital for their care and compassion. It was greatly appreciated.
