Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHELMA BORODY December 7, 1911 - March 4, 2005 Peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2005, Thelma passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 93 years. Thelma was predeceased by her son Douglas in 1958; husband Anthony in 1990; parents, Philip and Mary Miskow; sisters, Annie, Rose, Mary, Sadie; brothers, Wesley, Frank, Peter, Jack and Johnny. Thelma is remembered with love by Olia and Steve and children who welcomed her into their family. She will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, her friends at the Ivan Franko Manor and special friend Josephine. Thelma was a very devoted wife and mother; she was very caring and charitable person. Special thanks to the nurses and staff on Unit 2, 3rd floor, Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. In keeping with Thelma's wishes, no viewing will take place. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thelma's memory to a charity of one's choice. Rest in Peace We love you. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

Thelma suffered the heartbreak of losing her son Doug in a car accident in 1958. I was also in the car. She was gracious and kind and reached out to me while recovering at WGH.
