FREDA BORGER On Sunday, March 6, 2005, Freda Borger passed away suddenly at Seven Oaks General Hospital. After nearly 50 years, she is finally reunited with her husband George who passed away in 1956; her daughter-in-law Paulette Borger in 1996 and all her brothers and sisters. She leaves to mourn her son Ron (Joanne); grandchildren, Debbie (Edouard), Jonathan (Satellite and The Other One) and Sierra; nephews, Randy (Diane) and Rod (Karen) and many other nieces and nephews. To Freda, hard work was simply a fact of life, a fact she never backed away from. A hairdresser for almost 30 years, she worked both day and night to raise her only son, mostly at Windsor Park Hair Fashion with her good friend and boss, Toni. After retirement, Freda lived out the rest of her years travelling with family, gambling in Las Vegas, and spoiling her two grandchildren. Ultimately, Freda never asked anything from anyone, but was always willing to give to others. Granny, you will be missed dearly, and will always be in our thoughts and hearts. We know that you are in a better place. At Freda's request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., R3C 2B7, or a charity of choice. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
