IRENE BOOTHE (nee TYSON) Surrounded by loving family, Irene passed away March 14, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre. She is survived by her daughter Diane Toffen; grandchildren, Jason (Milena), Daphne (Chris) and Vincent (Melanie) Boothe and Christopher and Andrew Toffen; great-granddaughter Isabel; daughter-in-law Faith Johston and nephews, Donald and Rodney Fitch. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Boothe and son Barry. Until a few years ago, Irene enjoyed playing tennis, gardening and walking her dog. But the main focus of her life was always the welfare of her family. She has been a loving and generous mother and grandmother to us all. The family thanks the staff of Adult Emergency and RR6 at the Health Sciences Centre and the staff at Lion's Manor (personal care) for their kindness to Irene. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Irene's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
