ADLYNNE (ADDIE) KOLTON (nee LUCKIW) August 9, 1935 - March 14, 2005 It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our mother, Baba, sister, sister-in-law and aunt (Chocha) on Monday, March 14, 2005. Adlynne was predeceased by her husband Ted in 1969; her parents Nick and Anne Luckiw in 1978; and infant son William Ted. She is survived by her son Ken (Darlene); granddaughter Jennifer (Trevor); and great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Cole De Luca; sister Olivia (Lyle) Coontz; brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Upon graduation Adlynne went to work at Great West Life Assurance until the birth of her son Ken in 1957. After the sudden passing of her husband Ted in 1969 she returned to the workforce at Manitoba Health Services where she stayed until 1996 when ill health forced her to retire. Addie was a people person and easily made a friend of everyone she met. She will be truly missed by all. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private interment will take place at a later date at Brookside Cemetery beside her husband and parents. Honorary pallbearers are all of her nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adlynne's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, the Winnipeg Humane Society or to a charity of your choice. TO THOSE I LOVE AND THOSE WHO LOVE ME When I am gone, release me, let me go... I have so many things to see and do, You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears; Be happy that we had so many years. I gave to you my love, you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love You each have shown, But now it's time I travelled on alone. So grieve a while for me if grieve you must, Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I won't be far away, for life goes on; So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be near, And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear, All of my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say WELCOME HOME Author Unknown VICHNAYA PAMYAT CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
