DELLA IRENE RESKE April 8, 1934 - March 22, 2005 Della passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Foothills Hospital on Tuesday, March 22. She was a strong woman who was content with all the little pleasures in life. Her honesty and candour were refreshing to any who met her. Her sense of humour and empathy for others created long lasting friendships and loving relationships with her family. Della is predeceased by her beloved husband, Rudy, whom she cared for until the end of his valiant struggle with Alzheimer disease in June, 2003 and her loving son, Kendall who was tragically and suddenly taken from her in December, 2003. While all will miss her happy disposition and generous spirit, her family is grateful for the time they shared with her while on this earth. They take comfort that she has been reunited with her true love and is walking with angels now. Della is survived by her loving children, Nordelle and Victor, Sherrie and Eric, Nona and Randy, Shannon and Al, Brent and Jade and Tammy; her grandchildren, Sean and Candice, Shayla Ryan, Dylan, Cody, Ryden, Stacy, Whitney, Tyson, Clayton, Robby and Dakota; her great-grandson, (her little angel) Baby Erik. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Foothills Hospital for their kind and attentive treatment. At Della's request there will be no service. The family will hold a 'Celebration of her life' on Tuesday, March 29th in Calgary, Alberta.
