RICHARD FREDERICK BRANGAN 1907 - 2005 Peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2005, Richard Brangan passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 97 years. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his sister Helena and by his daughters, Lorraine (Clement) McIntosh and Lynne Barley (John Cholakis); grandchildren, Craig (Lori), Grant and Scott McIntosh, Tim (Jennifer) Cox and Annemarie (Tim) Peter. He was predeceased by his loving and devoted wives Cicelieu Cis in 1974 and by his second wife Gertrude in 1998. His sister Dora passed away in November, 2004. Dad was born in London, England and came to Canada as an infant when his parents settled in Winnipeg. Following his formal education, he was employed by the Manitoba Government and for many years was the Provincial Auditor of Disbursements, retiring from that position in 1973. For several years, Dad enjoyed wintering in San Diego, CA and Destin, FL. He was an avid golfer, enjoying both golf and curling at the Wildwood Club. He was also a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge No. 4. In recent years, Dad resided at Lions Place on Portage Avenue, where he made many new friends. He enjoyed their bridge, cribbage and 31 games. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance.
